Our Profile
We are a Non Governmental Organisation with passionate individuals who believe in the basic social principles of caring and nurturing. We structure our activities to bring about development to children, families and communities that we work with.
We are passionate about dyslexics and students with ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). These two disorders are almost silent disorders in my country, yet we have so many students battling with them, this makes students who fall into these categories feel both inferior and stigmatized making them unable to carry on with normal learning experiences.
We are committed to the root causes of special needs individuals trying to better the quality of life especially for the underprivileged, the oppressed, the marginalized in urban and rural areas.
We raise awareness on dyslexic and special needs children and hope to someday influence policy that doesn’t give them an inclusion in education and the society.
We strive to promote change by research and alternatives to it through developing special forms of operational programs, in which the goal is to increase knowledge and understanding. If our idea is to catch the imagination of people, it has to be articulated by our people through speeches, pamphlets or visual images. If the idea is going to reach large numbers of people, planned resources have to be mobilized and assigned to the communication processes.
